Glom on Ubuntu 8.10 64bit

With both the ubuntu repository packages and the 1.8 ones fro the glom
PPA the application refusing to run, giving the following error:
gtkmm:ERROR:treeiter.cc:149:bool Gtk::TreeIter::equal(const
Gtk::TreeIter&) const: assertion failed: (model_ == other.model_)
Any ideas?
