[Glade-users] Resizing widgets

Hi I am using glade3.0 in my Debian.

I can put the widgets in my window and I can see a well designed window in my glade interface. But when I try 
to run and display the window ..it is not the same what I designed through glade.The whole window has become 
small and if I have only one text entry and a button in my designed window.,those two looks very small and if 
I maximise it is very big..How to design them.

I s this a bug in glade or am I missing some arguments to be set in the properties list.

I need help please.
