[Glade-users] Glade and gettext...

yep, I got the same results. Apparently these messages appear because you=
have set in your project that you want to use Gettext. Gettext is a prog=
ram to support multi-language software, so unless you really want that, I =
would recomend you to just uncheck the option (which is in the C Options f=
older) and rebuild the source code... That should do it. (it worked for me=
).

If you do want Gettext, I've read you simply need to install the package a=
nd it should work. (I didn't stick to this one long..)

BTW, sometimes there is a problem with versions when regenerating the code=
. What i usually do is delete the whole project directory except for the .=
glade file and the src directory and have glade generate the whole thing a=
gain. The po folder, for example only exists to support Gettext.

the rest should be straight-forward.

Here's the output:

Please use AM=5FGNU=5FGETTEXT([external]) in order to cause autoconfiguratio=
n
to look for an external libintl.
=20
Please run 'aclocal -I m4' to regenerate the aclocal.m4 file.
You need aclocal from GNU automake 1.5 (or newer) to do this.
Then run 'autoconf' to regenerate the configure file.
=20
You will also need config.guess and config.sub, which you can get from
ftp://ftp.gnu.org/pub/gnu/config/.
=20
You might also want to copy the convenience header file gettext.h
from the /usr/share/gettext directory into your package.
It is a wrapper around <libintl.h> that implements the configure=20
--disable-nls
option.

Press Return to acknowledge the previous four paragraphs.

**Error**: aclocal failed. This may mean that you have not
installed all of the packages you need, or you may need to
set ACLOCAL=5FFLAGS to include "-I $prefix/share/aclocal"
for the prefix where you installed the packages whose
macros were not found
