[Gimp-user] Can I import a PSD Photoshop file?

I have a PSD Photoshop file and want to get it into GIMP. When I tried to open
it, I got this error "unsupported color mode CMYK". Is there any conversion
program or any other way to do this. It's possible I may be able to get the
person to save the PSD or export it in a different format.

The PSD file was made from a CD template so it has 4 panels all connected
together, so that they can be folded into a CD jacket

Any suggestions or guidance is appreciated
