[Gimp-user] Cant move signature

Hi,

I want to digitalize my signature. But when I insert it I can ont mov it. Here
is what I do:

can it, black on white paper.

add alpha channel

Magic stick tool, take it.

remove background

save as xcf.

Insert as layer.

Now, I con only move the document I insert it to, not the signature. What to do?

What to do better?
