Is there a way to increase this preview screen. In its current form
its too tiny that its useless. There is no button to change the size
also.
Is there a way to change this strange setting?
Try Edit -> Preferences -> Environment -> Image Thumbnails -> Large.
Then, go into C:\Users\your_name\.thumbnails and delete the contents.
Restart Gimp and hopefully Windows will create new larger thumbnails as you go
along.
Another way is use a utility/cataloguing application that has the facility to
launch Gimp for any particular image.
example XnViewMP.
