Not sure where that leaves me as
it is clearly a problem on my end. Does GIMP's download differentiate
between 32 and 64 bit?
Well, maybe that was the case. The Partha 64-bit DL seemed to do the trick, as I
am able to open all files in question. Thank you all for your help!!
