[Gimp-user] text problems

I'm a very light, occasional Gimp user and don't know what's happened to the
text tool (I'm using v2.8.4).

When using the text too, some letters kick out of the text tool and open other
tool options.  Small "l" opens the blend tool.  Small "b" opens path tool.  Big
"B" opens bucket fill.

What's going on?  Thanks in advance for setting me straight!
