[Gimp-user] Gimp does not open files

Hi
Gimp 2.8 does not open file (jpg or JPG)
Restart and open again does not help.
Files have been made by same Gimp 2.8
Files can be opened by preview or other programs.
working on OSX 10.7.4 Intel
some others images do open correct.
What could be cause and solution?
