I agree. That's what I was trying to say in some of my answers, that 
perhaps we should review completely the UI for tools and docks.
This list is an opportunity to review some of the base concepts, and 
produce a very cool "future" design, even though it may mean that this 
cool design won't see the day before 3.0 or even after.
