I appreciate that idea and if it helps improving the work, why not? Is 
https://live.gnome.org/TranslationProject insufficient for this?
The only doc related thing in the wiki I can currently think of are the 
Users:Tips page and that the namespace 'Users' is reserved for user 
guides and the like.
