Hi,

In Preferences, under Folders, what is the Environment folder for?

Also, is the "Preferences/Folders/Swap folder" specified in GIMP the 
same or different from the GEGL swap folder that can be specified using 
these lines while starting GIMP?

GEGL_SWAP=RAM
export GEGL_SWAP
