[Gimp-developer] Need help for gegl translation

Hi,

Some strings are difficult to translate in gegl interface. Could 
developpers give some explanations? This would be useful for all 
translators:

1- "FFmpeg video output sink"
German translated "sink" to "ziel" (something related to "target"),
italian to "recezione" ("reception"),
spanish to "sumidero" (something related to sewers).
What sink means here?

2- "How much horizontal offset should applied to the paste"
Is it paste as in copy-paste?

3- "Wind-like bleed effect"
bleed?

4- "wrapping dcraw with pipes"
Does that mean that "dcraw" is kept out?

5- "Relative brightness change in stops"
What these stops are?
