So this bar is only there to host a dumb logo, it is a total waste of 
space in an environment where space is a premium.

Perhaps GIMP could make better use of the space. We don't need this sort 
of cheesy marketing trick (whether of not it rolls it's eye's on Pres. 
Obama's birthday or whatever).

Users do need more space.
