[gedit-list] Windows file history

The program works on phantom files. The program does not re-read the windows
directory. File history is maintained even if file is deled or the
containing folder is deleted, in windows 7. If the gedit program is deleted
and reinstalled, the program still works on non-existent files in
non-existent folders.  One way around it, was when working as administrator,
but potentially, this is because this was a different user. This may not be
a problem in Linux.
