Hi Max!

word split boundaries (which are in turn used for selection) are
determined by gtk and are not configurable in gedit at the moment.
However it is possible to write plugins that change this, for instance
there is http://code.google.com/p/gedit-click-config though I think it
has not been ported to gedit 3 yet.
