Hi Jim,

    well, "perfect" is a bit of an exaggeration, but we are pretty happy
with the result of 3.0.

http://live.gnome.org/Gedit/RoadMap contains a list of things we would
like to do, but as you can see on the list none of them is so urgent
that it "must" be done for 3.2. They will be done if/when a champion for
each feature shows up and has time to do the work.
