Yeah, running Gedit <_javascript_-file> from the command line emits:
ctags: invalid option -- 'n'

Could it be I'm on a wrong ctags version?  Not sure how to check for that, though.

Works for me (see attached; although I don't use gedit that much any
more). Is there anything interesting printed to stderr (run gedit from
gnome-terminal to find out)?
