I use gedit a lot for writing and I use the dictionary.
The problem is that everytime I update my system I save my home folder. Unfortunately, my gedit user dictionary doesn't get saved, perhaps because it isn't in my home folder or it is a .hidden file.
How can I put it in the non-hidden files in my home folder and tell gedit where to find it. I looked in the preferences but couldn't find any reference to the location of the user dict. I also looked at the plugin but all there is is 'about plugin'.
I was thinking, if I could find out where the dictionary plugin puts it, that I could replace it with a symbolic link to the folder where I put the files that I write.
Can you help me?
