[gedit-list] select line from left margin

Hello,

Feature request: all is in subject ;-)
Would be a friendly feature to be able to select a line (possibly a group of lines, but this is more complicated) by simply clicking in the margin, rather than via a *triple* click inside the line. Or do I overlook another possibility?
What do you think?
