The modelines plugin allows one to set custom settings for a file
using a vim-like or an emacs-like syntax. It doesn't incorporates the
ability to change the font style though.

It was planned at some moment to add the ability to the modelines
plugin to store default settings for languages, but it has never been
done. Wanna try it ? ;-)
