Re: [gedit-list] Gedit branched for 2.22

If we get the time to kill gnomevfs I just wonder will we kill gnomevfs
dependies totally then? I really hope we do that :-D

I just saw that bonobo or similar is still dragging in this gnomevfs
library in nautilus. probadly because some bonobo/or libgnome is using
it :-(

IMHO. as soon as we kill the GnomeVFS we should try add my old
optionally patch to kill libgnome patch that way we totally kills
gnomevfs and bonobo (about 6 librarys or soo).

I myself never cares about the session managment in gnome and gaddly
compile it locally. Infact on my system I never have got the session
manager to work because the gnome-session is IMHO still broken crap
(dont get me wrong I know no gnomers have the time to care about
sessionmanager for years That code should IMHO get replaced by dbus
(whoops kind Offtopic sorry) :)

Btw. will the latest GIO patch work in HEAD branch? If so I am glady one
of the tester of that latest GIOLoader patch?

Greets...
