Why not use ALT+~ to move forward between tabs and SHIFT+ALT+~ to move back?
Because ~ is in a very unconvenient position on many keyboard, at
least Norwegian and other Scandinavian keyboards. Second after that, I
do not think it is a good idea to invent the wheel all over again.
Isn't the standard GNOME keybinding for switching tabs Ctrl-Page_[up,
down]? At least it is in Epiphany.
