Re: [gedit-list] New cool plugin for Gedit

Hi Lee,

It does work, I think i was missing .glade file. It is very slow
however as i type a document name, it acts very sluggish matching my
regex.
That solely depends on the number of files in or below the directory where you
started gedit. It is meant to be used a top of a structure with a somewhat
limited number of files (less than a couple of hundreds). I am currently using
it for Ruby On Rails projects.
If you have any way of pruning the dirtree, just edit the snapopen.py file and
change the '
 cmd =  'find ... '
to something more apropriate for you. (Suggestions are welcome).

Also a feature would be nice to resize the name and path columns. I
can't see the file name the way it's setup for my resolution.
The two columns (name and file) is automatically resized with every update, If
'name' is long it means you have matched a file with a very long filename, try
scrolling down until you find it. It seems you are including some temporary
files with wicked filenames or whatever.

I used it everyday, even as a more convinient way of tab switching. I
can easily
regex search a hundred files or more with instant feedback.

Good luck,

Hi Lee,

Try downloading again. The previous zip was missing some files. Sorry
