I think that 'current document' is perhaps not as useful, but
integrating with the 'root' folder of the filebrowser would be very
cool. It helps a lot when using gedit for projects is which you edit
a number of related files. My plugin is not well suited for opening a
single /etc/...  file :-)

And thanks again. I will look into some of the other cool plugins soon.
I think the world has seen a lot of super-swiss-army-knife-editors, so I
really like small out-of-the-way plugins not bloating the interface, og
doing stuff that is really done better outside an editor.
