Hello,
Morning,
I included a preferences dialog to my python plugin, and wonder about
where to save the configuration stuff. Is there a policy about where and
how plugins should save their config files? I am unsure, but I guess
that "~/.gnome2/gedit/plugins/mypluginrc" is the best option.
The easiest way to do it would be to use the
/apps/gedit-2/plugins/yourplugin folder in GConf, unless you have some
raw data to store as snippets and tools have, and then a file or a
directory in /apps/gedit-2/yourplugin should do.
