[Geary] unable to open database connection, cancelling AsyncJob: Connection.ctor cancelled

Hi all

I have some syncing problems recently on my desktop installation 
(compiled from master).
When I launch Geary the first time, the spinning wheel in the bottom 
left turns and turns until I get bored and close Geary. When I start it 
again, the sync works.

In the log I see:

to open database connection to 
/home/fede/.local/share/geary/account_01/geary.db, cancelling AsyncJob: 
Connection.ctor cancelled

$ ls -l .local/share/geary/account_01/
totale 651680
drwxrwxr-x 1006 fede fede     20480  1 ago 08.20 attachments
-rw-r--r--    1 fede fede 667295744  1 ago 08.20 geary.db

File permissions seem Ok.
What else could be?
