added issue:

- i like that i can hit backspace to remove the previous text. But that only works until you start typing the reply. Then you lose that functionality. 

- You should not LOSE that functionality. Better would be an "X" near the top of the previous-text area, which doesn't ever go away, even after you start typing, and which when clicked removes all previous text AND the previous-text-area.
