I select the message, hit the delete button and confirm the permanent delete. But the message is still there.

It may be related to the fact that this conversation had a follow-up after that message?

You should just be able to delete the offending message.  When I select a message in my outbox, the delete button is available and works fine.  Are you seeing something different?

More than 2 weeks ago Geary could not save a sent email in Sent Mail folder, so it's still in the outgoing mail folder. I cannot delete it. Other messages have followed in that thread afterwards.
