Re: [Geary] Sent mail not working

Right now Geary uses XLIST or SPECIAL-USE to identify the Sent Mail folder.  These are common (but not universal) IMAP extensions for identifying special folders by purpose.  For example, they identify the Drafts folder, Sent Mail, Junk/Spam, and so forth.

We're currently working on https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=713492, which identifies special folders by well-known names (including "Sent", which should apply to your situation).

The final piece of the puzzle is to offer a way for the user to manually specify special folders in the Accounts settings: https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=714106  I don't know we'll have this ready in time for 0.6.

Hi,

I'm testing geary 0.5.1 and was excited to see the save send mail was implemented. However, I can't get it to work, it fails to save the mail to my sent folder. And I'm a little confused how it is intended to work, since I didn't find any setting to specify my sent folder? My mail provider have the Sent folder as a subfolder to the Inbox (and it is called "Sent"). Since there is no real standard for the sent folder, I don't see how it can work without a setting for it.

Am I missing something? And just tell me if you need some more specific information about this.
