Jouko:
On Ubuntu 10.4 (using GDM 2.30.0) GDM only runs PostSession
script at logout; never at shutdown or restart.
The PostSession script is designed to run at the end of the user
session. It should be run if shutdown/restart is triggered from
inside the user's session since the user session should be
exited before the shutdown/restart.
However, the script is not intended to be run if shutdown/restart
is triggered from the GDM login dialog itself.
Is this by design? Or should I add a bugzilla entry?
If the PostSession script is not called when the system is shutdown
or restart from the user session, then this sounds like a bug, and
a bugzilla entry would be helpful.
