Bug description:
after updating to hardy alpha 3 from gutsy, every time ubuntu boots there is this error : Language en_US does not exist, Using system default
after clicking ok it load the system in english language, and the problem isnt only in english language because when i updated the ubuntu he was in russian language and the problem was appeard too but instead of US there was RU..
heres 2 screenshots of the error : http://img175.imageshack.us/img175/7111/pic000qb0.jpg , http://img214.imageshack.us/img214/7866/pic001pc2.jpg
Saïvann : This bug is caused by the difference between /etc/environment in Gutsy and Hardy. Removing the "LANGUAGE="en_US:en"" line in Hardy /etc/environment file fixes this problem.
Gutsy :
PATH="/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/bin:/usr/games"
LANG="en_US.UTF-8"
Hardy upgraded from Gutsy :
PATH="/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/bin:/usr/games"
LANG="en_US.UTF-8"
LANGUAGE="en_US:en"
Hardy freshly installed :
PATH="/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/bin:/usr/games"
