That of course is a good idea. :)  However, you are downloading a lot of
stuff that you most likely do not want to build, because...

General rule of thumb, as per the docs: Build desktop/ first. Then check
out the additional dirs for goodies, and build those garballs apps only
you want.

Thanks for the heads up!  Indeed, the old tarballs vanished. *sigh*

Updated SVN and smoke-tested that garball, built fine for me.

Sure, just edit the GARVERSION in fifth-toe/gimp-help/Makefile. Then run
'make makesum' (ONLY in fifth-toe/gimp-help).

After that you can continue populating the GARCHIVE or build it.
