GARNOME | general | Ver: 2.22.x
Summary: DEPS-LIST contains an old package name
Product: GARNOME
Version: 2.22.x
Platform: Other
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: minor
Priority: Normal
Component: general
AssignedTo: garnome-maint gnome bugs
ReportedBy: g borello gmail com
QAContact: garnome-list gnome org
GNOME version: Unspecified
GNOME milestone: Unspecified
Hi, i'm installing latest version of garnome under Ubuntu 7.10, and in file
DEPS-LIST i found this:
libmagick6-dev (tango-icon-theme)
However, this package is not present anymore, the correct package name is
libmagick9-dev, as you can see:
gighi sedonc:~/garnome-2.22.1/desktop$ sudo apt-get install libmagick6-dev
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
Package libmagick6-dev is not available, but is referred to by another package.
This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or
is only available from another source
However the following packages replace it:
graphicsmagick-libmagick-dev-compat libmagick9-dev
E: Package libmagick6-dev has no installation candidate
Thank you for your work.
