Re: Clear all old Gnome data? (started but crashed)



Thanks for all the replies.  I cleared out as much stuff as I could (not
worried about personal settings and things).  When I started X, I bombed
with the report below.

It started showing the splash graphic and threw up a box or two with illegible
characters.  Then it went back to console.

most likely the X server was shut down or you killed/destroyed
the window manager.
