gnome-vfs fails - can't find libbz2

Hi,

I'm building garnome-0.27.1 on a vanilla RH9. When garnome attempts to
build the gnome-vfs module, it fails during the "configure" complaining
about not being able to find libbz2.

Is libbz2 supplied with garnome ? Should I download it and install it
separately or does RH9 store libbz2 somewhere non-standard ?
