Follow-Up: gnome-vfs fails - can't find libbz2

My copy of RH9 installed libbz2 in /usr/lib

/usr/lib/libbz2.so.1.0.2
/usr/lib/libbz2.so.1

Fairly standard. Do I need to modify the buildpaths in configure ?
