I've figured out where this comes from, but I still don't know why I'm  
getting it.

sed s/\$pkgdatadir/`echo /root/garnome/share/gok | sed s/\\\\//\\\\\\\\ 
\\\\//g`/g gok-with-references.schemas > gok.schemas

gok-with-references.schemas should be generated without proper links to  
the install dir.  However gok-with-references.schemas is empty.  Has  
anyone run into the same error?
