Well, I'll try adding --with-cups=no to the CONFIGURE_ARGS line in the
garball Makefile and see what happens. I've missed my bed time so badly
that there's no point going to bed now!

Please let me know if there are special options I could use that would
give you useful debugging results.

P.S. Noticed your use of the word "pants" earlier. Always thought that
was a Scottishism. (I'm English --- hey! don't hold it against me ---
but have lived in Edinburgh for years. I always thought you were
American but perhaps I'm wrong.)
