There are no errors in the output you sent; everything went as expected.
The next thing you have to do is to run 'make install' as root in install 
gnome-common.

The "nichts zu tun" message just means that gnome-common doesn't 
contain any C code which needs to be compiled, since gnome-common just 
contains macros for GNOME. Take a look at the README file, and try again 
:)
