Mahjongg scores

Hi everyone.
Is it possible to launch/compile Mahjongg in order to use another score 
list than the standard one.
The goal is to have his own scores even if they're bader than the bad 
one of all the users.
I tried to compile with the --localstatedir option, the directory has 
been correctly created but seems not to be used.
When I use the newly created mahjongg, the scores of my distribution ( 
Debian) are always displayed.
Maybe should I launch the game differently?
