Agreed! Freedom should always be front and center with GNOME and it's important to stay focused on that (and to raise the point when it needs to be raised).

I think it would help if next time you please checked third party sites when you are raising objections like these (or maybe have someone at the FSF do the legwork?). If there's a real problem with something the GNOME Foundation is doing, the board wants to know. You can also email the board privately at any time if you have thoughts that aren't substantiated.
