I would like to highlight that the efficiency is one of the most
important points in the proposal for hosting GUADEC in A Coruña. Our bid
is based on the effort of a team of volunteers with great experience in
the organization of different conferences like GUADEC-ES in 2005 and
GUADEMY in 2007 and other international Conferences like Dudesconf
2007-2008 and CTSL.

GPUL, the Linux User Group who is promoting, has 10 years of experience
and people that is participating in the team have attended GUADEC for
several years.

If we hold GUADEC next year in Galicia (Spain), we will have available
low cost accommodation in Halls of Residence in A Coruña, all of them
connected by free bus to the University. The whole week of GUADEC will
have a really affordable rate of 105€/week, just 15€/day sharing a
double room with 532 vacancies, i have been lodged there when i was a
student and rooms are cozy and there is available wifi.

Our proposal is based in the objective of making GUADEC affordable for
GNOME community, and sponsoring as many people as possible, because
there is no cost for the venue as the University will be part of the
Organization.

Best Regards,
