This is a pretty lame reason, and I don't mean to trivialise the  
effort that's been put into the proposals at all, but I'd be more  
interested in attending a conference in Tampere simply because I've  
never been to Finland before :)  Whereas I've already been to various  
bits of Spain and the Canary Islands on several occasions, not least  
for two previous GUADECs.

I now return you to the more considered opinions of people who have  
studied the proposals more thoroughly...
