You're mistaken. Actually, it's not harder to learn a DSCM than a
regular centralised one. What makes it harder to learn for *regular* SCM
users is that a few concepts and way-to-do-things are different.

I explained how to use git to a friend of mine (because he has no server
available, and it was easier for him to backup everything since he only
has to burn the checkout directory with the .git directory in it). He
was able to get it working fastly enough. Faster than I was, in fact,
due to my inherited CVS and SVN habits.
