Re: My interests in the GNOME Foundation



To be honest, someone hired for the GNOME Foundation Administrator
position should be first selected from Board members. I would suggest
putting other candidates second priority about this, if they don't have
some extra experience overcoming this. 

The reason why is, firstly Board members are community elected people.
That means community trust them already. Second reason is that hired
Administrator will work directy with Board of Directors. Having
experience in previous Boards will give him/her a great perspective how
BoD is working, and how decisions are taken. 

Apart from being Board Member, Quim has great communicational skills,
and problem solving capabilities - those from what I've seen during last
GUADEC.
