Depends what you mean by 'policy decisions' - but I'd certainly hope the
GNOME Foundation membership had a large say in the matter.
I'm talking about the decisions reported in the board meetings which
now are (it seems) made by the board. If the suggestion is that the
board should not decide them any more, then who should?
I'm not saying that the board is the only way to decide them, or
necessarily the best. I'm saying that a proposal to limit the board's
responsibilities to raising money has to include a proposal for how to
replace it in this decision-making.
