Oops: did I bloop?  I read a thread on "proposing other people who are
shy" and maybe I did not read it all the way, but I thought this was
OK but that he would then have to confirm it.

Still, can you approve my post to the announce list?  I suspect that
it might be Christopher's main campaign statement if goes for it.
