tags not stored inside of images

Hallo all,
i have problem with ubuntu (10.04) version of f-spot. The tags do not
stored inside of images, even f-spot is configured to do so. I can
reproduce this issue with 0.6.1.5 and with 0.7.0 from ppa.
Are there any way (as workaround) to force synchronisation of the tags
from database with images? I need tags in images ASAP :(
