Multiple ORing when tag searching

Am I right in thinking that the way to search for multple tags (ORed) is
to drag them one by one to the find bar? Clicking on several causes them
to be ANDed. It's just that each time I drag a tag to the FIND bar I
have to wait ages before I can drag the next one.
